He's been making waves in Maryland's underground racing circuit since he crossed the state line, and after speaking with him, we know he's not hitting the brakes anytime soon. So what exactly does it take to burn rubber and make a name for yourself in a world where the only rule is there are no rules?
You gotta be hungry...
You gotta have balls...
And you can never back down.
What've we learned here at GearShark?
Drew is all of the above.
We also know he's got some secrets buried under his hood.
Secrets we think are loaded with octane and just might set the world of cars on fire.

**This book contains a Male/Male romance relationship**

#Junkie took my heart and broke it in two, stitched it back up, yet broke it again. I was in tears a few times (ok, more than a few) throughout this book. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of humor, excitement and action throughout this book. I have to say, this is my very first M/M romance, my cherry has been popped and it was fantastic. My heart broke with the emotional overload, both experienced when not knowing exactly how they felt, who they were, and questioning each other's sexuality. Trent being a football player and in a frat, helping out his best friend, Drew with his car and preparing it for races. Drew being an adrenaline junkie who loved nothing more than to race cars in the Indie circuit. Yet, there was always this electricity between them, secret glances, intense stares, a shared secret that neither was willing to talk about.
Trent and Drew's story was eloquently written. Ms. Hebert handled their love, their romance, their sweet first kiss with such grace and beauty. I fell hard and fast for both these characters. That first kiss, I felt the intensity of their feelings, their love all the way down to my toes. It was perfect, it was everything each wanted to say without words, and it was beyond hot!
Their romance was nothing short of a fairytale. But, fairytales for two young gay men in love don't always have happy endings. They fear the luxury of showing off their unequivocal love they have for one another in public, they're afraid to be who they are due to bigotry and hate from people who may think their love is wrong. Secrets are kept, different personas are shown in public, and Trent and Drew sneak around hiding from prying eyes.
As I mentioned before, my heart broke, it healed, then broke again. Reading what Trent and Drew had to go through; finding out their true feelings, acknowledging those feelings, acting on them, and then having to hide those feelings from others? Yes, I felt so incredibly sad for each of them. This book is a must read, Ms. Hebert did an excellent job writing her first M/M romance. It does leave off on a bit of a cliffhanger but it's not huge. I'm looking forward to book 2, I cannot wait to see what's next!! Ms. Hebert, you have me completely hooked on Trent and Drew! #TrewLove
